If you look at the existing variety of pushchairs, you will find it hard to believe that they have all developed from perambulators, which in their days hardly had any of these hi-tech present-day features.

Modern pushchairs provide safety, comfort and convenience without compromising on the looks. Strollers are one of the best pushchairs varieties for travelling with your baby, as they can be folded and carried easily.

If you have more than one child, you can buy Two-in-one and Three-in-one pushchairs. Companies make them in Tandem, Twin or Triple formats. In Tandem pushchairs, kids are put in seats behind each other while in Twins they are put in seats next to each other.

There are also Three-wheeler pushchairs which have larger wheels and which ensure that the pushchair can be moved on any kind of surface.

Travel system pushchairs are full-fledged systems to provide for all modes of travel. They can be converted into carrycots, prams, car seats and reclining pushchairs. Since they can be used for at least three years of childhood, they are very cost-effective.

These options suit the needs of modern-day parents who are very choosy about what they should buy for their children. They want comfort, style and utility all in one product and like to choose something that really suits their needs. These pushchairs have been built keeping in mind these needs, and the manufacturers include lots of special features in them to attract parents. Today you can easily choose a suitable pushchair for your baby keeping in mind your baby’s age, your preferences of model and usage, and many other such considerations.

Big Foot Relay. Get the children take 2 shoeboxes with them. Tape the hats onto the boxes, then cut a one-inch-wide and four-inch long slit in every top. Have the contestants slip their feet into the slits in the boxes and race.

Batty Bowling. Recover a bit of silly or odd tokens that can be bumped over by a ball, much as a plastic milk carton, a candlestick, a stand-up dolly, a plastic vase of blooms, a pizza box, a column of clean cans, an umbrella stand, an empty oatmeal container, and a book. Stock them up like bowling pins and get the bowlers try to tap them over with volleyballs, tennis balls, or golf balls.

Blind Walk. Produce an obstruction path from one end of the yard to the other. Line up the contestants and let them have a thorough look at the path. One at a time, blindfold the nippers and have them walk the path without looking. Note each player’s time on the scoreboard.

Kill the Cockroach. Part the players into two teams. Line them up, one in front of the other and set an odd object in front of the first players in line. They must kick the object across the yard and the across the end line to win a point for their team. Kick things like a pillow, empty can, a sock, and so on.

Preschool Honor Cord

A preschool honor cord is basically a token that consists of twisted cords containing tassels on either end and are awarded to honor society members for various academic achievements. Cords usually come in two’s and contain a knot in the mid section to ensure they are held together. Sometimes stoles, medallions or sashes may be awarded instead of preschool honor cords which are commonly worn by graduates at academic functions or ceremonies. Together with the cap, the gown and the hood, the children usually wear honor cords but at the educational institution’s discretion. Unlike caps and gowns, children may wear more than one

preschool honor cord.

Honor cords play the role of recognizing the participation and achievement of each child’s graduation. Honor cords may be tied in two’s or three’s and may be sold individually or in sets. Honor cords are made from exterior rayon which is wrapped around a cotton core. The length of each cord is made for children and this is inclusive of the two tassels which are about 4 inches each. The knot generally reduces the cords length by around 4 inches. A preschool honor cord should be ordered in advance, prior to the graduation ceremony.

Feeding the Baby

Sunday, January 4th, 2009

I have to feed the baby all the time. I wish that the baby could feed herself all the time, that would make my life a lot easier. Everyday when I wake up in the mooning I have to give her a bottle and play wither her for a few hours before she eats again. This time I actually have to feed her real food. It is not real food though, it is more like mush in a jar, but she seems to like it very much. It makes me think of what it would be like to an old person. So I need to sit and feed her. The food that she likes the most is the carrots and the sweet potatoes. Now that I think of it, I think that she likes all food that is orange. She like the peaches, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash and oranges. Feeding her is the challenge though. Learning how to maneuver the spoon is an art form. You need to learn how the baby eats and how to use the spoon like a spatula to scrape the food off of their face, and into their mouth. Once you have that trick, the rest they say, is cake.
